I live in Montreal too.........But i didn't play oud yet. I ordered one oud from an oud maker in Montreal.........
I play banjo and banjola since nearly one year and a half.........

I don't know exactly, it depend of the luthier who is building the oud.........the oud is hand made and will be 'unique'....
