again I found the chance to arrange a workshop and concert here in my town for the aoud in combination with a percussion workshop. I'm absolutely glad to have here as teachers two excellent and very famous musicions at the end of july:

• Adel Shams El Din, percussion esp. riqq - member of the group "Al Kindi"

workshop last weekend

Dear friends,

last weekend we had a wondeful time together with Adel Salameh and Adel Shams El Din at our workshop weekend here in Badenweiler in our culture house the KunstPlaias Badenweiler. we had a wonderful group of 7 aoud players with different levels of aoud playing, but Adel braught us perfectly together.

In the second workshop for percussion - a masterclass workshop - Adel Shams El Din had two professional students.

At saturday evening the both teachers gave us and the audience an exiting concert. We all had great fun and enjoyed this very much. At the end of their concert the students presented their results to the whole audiance.

I add some pictures here and and may short videos too soon. I'm shure we will repeat this weekend next year, may be with some additions. We will see. I will inform you here.

thanks kiki for your comment. I appreciate it that you liked it to be here in Badenweiler for the workshop and I appreciate it that you took such a long trip to come here to Badenweiler from New York. And the feedback by the other participants was the same than yours.

Furthermore both Adel liked to be here in Badenweiler, liked it very much in the workshop with you all but they liked also our town here and will like to bring with them their wifes next time.

Yes, next time: I'm planning to repeat this weekend next year in summer. I'm planning to add some more special events, I have a lot of ideas that have to be verified soon and I will publish the result here, when the planning is complete. And next time we will have the lectures in our own house of the KunstPalais ( see pictures below )

Would be fine to see you all here again and wish you for now a good time
