Hi guys
This oud does not only have smaller bowl but also have longer neck.
I was wondering if anyone knows what style(In arabic Music)
This oud is . Iranian Ouds(Barbat) are smaller and it is very
similar to Iranian Ouds but it has its differences and as far
as I know it is made by an Arab maker.
Does anyone know (or Can guess) Who may be the maker of this oud?
Is there any avidance or document or tale that Oud use to have longer neck is the past and the neck got smaller trough out the history?
Does this oud have a name or is this a special style that I don't know?( Other than childrens oud)
Do you know anyone who makes this kind of Oud?

Hi sam
Not that is not a Barbat , That is similar to barbat but even our barbat has shorter
neck than this.
I know it is probabely made in egypt.
This is a Barbat Can you see the diference?

I did't get when Siro talked about scale
The bowl looks even smaller than Iranian Oud( that have small bowl)
That is why I wondered what it is.
