Need help with my broken oud

alan_mardan - 9-13-2010 at 12:02 PM

Hi guys, Hope all of you are well

I am looking for a professional Oud maker who can repair and restore my Oud.

I bought this Oud from Basra in Iraq but the maker shipped it badly in a plastic box with no cover. There is a crack in one of the ribs on the upper side of the bowl. Also, when touching the bowl, it feels like the strips are not leveled or maybe they are not glued well together. There are also some scratches on it from the box.

Please if there is a good maker in UK who knows how to repair and restore it to a new oud, then let me know. Thanks

Regards
Alan
