Hi thanks everyone who has been helping me out...if you look at the two keyboard pictures attached this is how i have my oud tuned (forget the octaves
for now). The top version doesn't sound right because the G and A are right next to each other and when i play something on those two strings it
sounds funny. Now is the correct way to tune for DGADGC the top version or the bottom keyboard version (where the A is the next octave up than the top
version)? I appreciate your help everyone...

The top one is correct. The bottom G is mainly used as a drone.
