Hello oud lovers!
I very much appreciate Munir Bashir's style. I know most of his playing is improvisation, but i also heard he did compose music.
*Does any one know what he composed?
*Do you think his song HANAN (tenderness, my favorite!)in his 2CD MESOPOTAMIA is written?
* Do you know how we could get the "written" music?

since this message has been read from many of you, i guess the interest is there.
I found a musician named JAMIL AL ASADI who is a quanun player. He used to play in BAYARIK under the direction of Munir Bashir.
It is said that he did write in notes what Munir played.
Jamil al asadi has a CD named: "Muniryat"
I still can't find a way to get in contact with him.
any body an idea? a tip?
