This is one of the most interesting collection of CDs I have ever acquired so far.
Not only does it reflect an interesting evolution of a music icon, but also, it does show the unique bridge Mr. Tawadros and his likes created between
the exotic east and the sophisticated west.
The beginning of the 20th. century witnessed great works by immigrant poets like Gobran Khalil Gobran & Khlail Motran.
By the same token, the beginning of the 21st. century is witnessing a unique globalization of Arabic music in the hands of Mr. Tawadros.
I highly recommend this set of CDs.
