One more I found while digging around sama3y. George Michel probably in his younger days as part of an ensemble with a singer named Abas El Balady.
The oud taqsim has been posted on youtube before but there's some nice violin and qanun work too. Unfortunately I find the songs to be pretty bland
but that's all subjective anyway.

Doesn't sound familiar, but most of his compositions aren't available in recording form for whatever reason. Eventually someone may dig it up.

I did a find a youtube video of someone playing it. You are right... it is a shame we just dont have more of his stuff available.
