I am selling the 1967, completely original Onnik Karibyan oud listed on this page:

The oud is completely original. A true gem that was brought to this country by Udi (Oudi) Hrant Kenkulian for one of his students in this country.
It was essentially stored for decades. I purchased it several years ago. It has been played very minimally over the years.
Everything about the instrument is original. If you look closely at this pictures, you will see that, at one point, two small wooden clasps were
glued onto the instrument--one at the bridge, and one on the side of the bowl, so that a pcikup could be strapped on. I have not attempted to remove
these. I have done nothing to this instrument, and it does not look like anything has ever been done.
The sound is typical 1960s Karibyan--nothing short of sublime.
Price: $5700 firm. It plays brilliantly. It has the characteristic Karibyan dip in the face--this is how the face is/was meant to be. Comes with
hard case. I will ship anywhere in the USA. Sorry, I don't have a sound sample on this one.
