Hi all, can anyone tell me where I can buy a oud in Jordan? Amman?
I am looking for something decent.. not too expensive, I mean I would want something like a sukar or of that category. thanks!

go to a shop called Do Re Mi in "Dawwar Sukayna". The owner of the shop has Ibrahim Sukkar ouds and some more.
In Gardens street there are two or three music shops but they bring lower quality ouds.
Down town " wist il balad" there is one antique shop brings "Jawharat Al Fan" ouds. The shop is opposit to Husayn Mosque.

you can also try our oudproff for advice and see if he have any ouds available for sale, or any other oud related issues
he is a trust worthy guy " I think he is based in Jordan"

Check out: http://feesheh.com/en/oud. I got my starter oud from this new website for selling musical instruments online in Amman Jordan. Their ouds range
from 65JD to 400JD, mine sounds ok for the price I paid! They delivered to my house and I was pleased with their customer care.
