I just received a new oud I ordered from Master Faruk Turunz. Regrettably, there was an unfortunate error and I received a standard right handed oud
instead of the left-handed one I ordered. I agreed with Master Faruk, truly a wonderful gentleman, that I will exchange it with a left-handed one
in my next trip to Istanbul in September.
Alternatively, I would be happy to sell the oud to anybody in Dubai (or UAE) who is intending to buy an oud from Master Faruk. The price is exactly
what I paid for (1266USD) which covered the cost of the oud(1000), hard case(200), and the WU transfer fee. I did not pay shipping cost as I had
friend who kindly brought it for me from Istanbul. Therefore, the buyer would save the 300USD or so shipping cost as well as the hustle of customs
clearance!
The oud is untouched and still in its case. The price is non negotiable. If you need more info about the oud, please go to Master Faruk web site.
