San Pas Sta Xena lyrics.

Hi, I want to learn to sing this song but I don't speak nor read Greek, anyone could send me the lyrics in roman letters (with approximate pronunciation, though I can manage with the version I have from Hristos Tsiamulis on the record Metamorphosis)?

Thanks

Hello,
I will try to write in latin
if you have any problems with the pronuntiation please ask me for more details
===========================================
San pas sta ksena matia mou, (San like Sun)
min kaneis ena hrono (h like you pronounce Harvest)
giati den tone dagiando ( giati like the spanish Ya or german Ja!)
tis ksenitias ton pono

San pas sta ksena pare kai mena
pare kai mena gia syntrofia

Mera den kano dixos sou (den is like then)
ke hrono pos na kano
horis essena matia mou
grigora tha pethano (tha is like thumb)

Makria san tha sse,
na me thymasse
na me thymasse pantotina

San pas sta ksena pare ke mena
pare ke mena gia syntrofia

===========================================

Thats a very emotional and moving traditonal song about immigration

Thanks spartan, very helpful. Can I ask you to listen to this version by Hristos Tsiamulis, you'll hear the lyrics in the ad lib sections are different, can you help with those lyrics also?

Thanks so much,

Franck

You are right...the version you have is different than the one I posted before.

Here is the exact version you uploaded:

===========================================
Ah ets' ine o cosmos pseftikos
mera 'ne ke vradiazi
se allous la-lambi o ilios
ke s' allous scotiniazi

(refrain)
San pas sta ksena
pare ke mena
pare ke mena
yia syntrofia

Pseftike cosme ke dunya
ke pios tha se kerdepsi
i thalassa ah ki o ouranos
se 'houne simepsei

(refrain)

Ke sy kaymeni mou kardia
ta dakrya min vgazeis
krata vathia ton pono sou
ke min anastenazis

(refrain)

Makria ki an tha se
na me thymasse
na me thymasse
pantotina

===========================================

Th is pronounced like thumb
d is pronounced like the/then
(except the arab word Dunya which is like D in english)
