I wish this will go to another player or to a museum.

Im not a big fan of Hamza el'din but I really don't understand why he doesn't deserve to own a nice Oud? Or do I misunderstand?
I think the worst place for an instrument is in a museum, better to rot whilst being played and enjoyed than ogled at by people who perhaps neither care nor play.

Yours indeed

The Nahat oud of Hamza El Din was and remains in the possession of his wife of about 20 years.
About Alfaraby's comment 09-18-2009 ... once, in a conversation about someone who recently died, Hamza remarked, "And us - will we remain here forever?"
Alfaraby, how kindly will you be remembered?
