Hello all,
I am trying to identify the singer/album of this greek medley and trying to get a better quality recording of it and the rest of the live concert.
This is from my wife's family tape from when they lived in Armenia..

the song is called 'siko pano katse kato', and the singer might be someone called fillipos nikolaou...

i don't think this song can be labeled as rembetiko - by any stretch of the imagination! enjoy...

Thank you very much, I think you're right the voices do seem to match. In an effort to educate myself more on the Greek traditions, please expand on
you mean when you said this is not rembetika? I would like to learn more about the distinctions..thank you again for your help..if anyone has a better

is it just me or is this song a medley of a bunch of different songs...i dont understand greek but there seem to be a lot of different choruses that
all sound different rather than repetition. btw there is a video of the philly kef band playing siko pano katse kato. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7Yu8mR5I-s

Yes it is a medley of several great songs. I found the album and will post a clip of it soon. Enjoyed the video of my buddies in the kef band,
