Is it of Ottoman/Turkish or Arabic origin?
I am checking the "Turkish Real Book," but I think the word order (Arabic song form - maqam, instead of Turkish makam - song form) suggests Arabic,
not Turkish origin, though many pieces are well known in both cultures.
