Dear John,
I see that you often are the one answering if there is somebody looking for the music sheet of a certain song. Do you have any good sources in the net (or books) to recommend or is this just your personal collection you're searching in?
Greetings over the big see,
Alexander

Hi Alexander,

I sent you a U2U.

All the best,

Alexander, Hi

Many thanks for the music sheet: I think you are a real musician, since you try to help everyone. As far as I amconcerned , I think you are a golden boy...
Unfortunately hoxever, when I play the sheet, I do not reckognise the music I hear on you tube( oudprof), nor what I heard from my teacher who is away now, on a trip abroad.

I am suprised to see that the maqam is "JIHARQAH", in so much as for me JIHARQAH does not contain the famous E half bemol... Can you help further; if you come across another version it would be great, many thanks again and best regards, Sandranis:applause::applause::applause::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sorry for the errors in spelling: here in Southern France, the heat and temperatures are stifling nowadays, thanks again to Alexander, and my apologies for not replying immediately, I have been away wandering on some beaches, cherio

Hi Sandranis,
the music sheet was posted by John Erlich, not by me - but thank you for the nice words, anyway... :))
the music sheet for this song is correct, I have it from another source (Marina Toshich's book), it's the same there and I also play it that way.
Greetings from Switzerland to southern France,
Alexander

Hello, Alex and John

So many thanks to both again, greetings from the beach in Legrau-du-Roi, Southern France where we meet many people from switzerland( usually they come from BERN or from neighbour places), Sandranis:applause::applause::applause:

I play "Tala'a Min Beit Abuha" very differently than it appears on the sheet I posted. It just goes to show you how difficult it can be to write out improvisational and/or non-Western music using Western notation...

I try to learn most M.E.N.A. music by ear, relying on music sheets only if I run into difficulties, or for classical-type pieces.

All the best,
"Udi" John

Hello John!

I'm looking for this song right now too. Would you mind to upload it once again? I searched all over the web and did not find any musical sheets.

Best regards!

Klaus
