Dear friends,
I just got from a friend the new cd of Ara Dinkjian "Conversations with Manol" (which I like very, very much by the way, most beautiful - to my ears
at least...), where he plays his recently acquired oud made in 1900 by Emmanuel Venios (Manol). I tried to find more informations about this luthier
in the net but did not find much. But I am sure some senior members of our forum will know a bit about him, would you please share some informations
about him? Thanks!

it shouldn't be too much longer before a magazine sized article will be ready for publication featuring manolis venios and a few other early oud
makers in fin de siecle constantinople...a bit more patience!
