I'm stunned ! I didn't know you're a painter as well. I know you are a real artist in luthiery, but you didn't mention painting before.
As to the oud painted here, it's Farid's favorite, made by Emil Khoury from Beirut, Lebanon, back in the late 1950's or early 1960's. This maker is still anonymous even though he had made the most famous oud in the Orient. A big exclamation mark !
