Hi everyone,
I know some people here know Mr. Samir Azar, an extraordinary Syrian oud maker whose shop and life's work was destroyed in the war. I just wanted
folks to know that I have been in touch recently with him and he and his family are safe. He told me that he plans to begin building a new buzuk soon.
I just thought those of you here that know Samir and his work might want to know that he is ok.

Al-hamdillah Samir and his family are safe. Hopefully this terrible crisis is resolved. Hopefully he can rebuild his workshop someday... Allah bless
