G'day my sister is in Syria studying for a few months and has offered to get me an oud. I would like to know where is a good place for her to get
one or which oud makers are good to look for. Any help would be appreciated.

The two makers I know of are Samir, and his email is samiraz@scs-net.org
and Ibrahim Sukkar who has a website. Samir has some photos of his ouds on the forums. Check them out.
