I love the clean, neat design of this oud.
Great sound and playing.

Yes indeed :)
This's a Dikran Najarian (Beirut) bowl from 1941 with the restoration of Kamil Mowais's workshop in Nazareth. Mr. Sima'an Mowais Jr. under the supervision of his father, made a Mowais's great 'sound system'.
On the other hand, this might be the most breathtaking bowl I've ever seen. It's just Perfect. I had the chance to examine it before it was finally released to the possession of the artist.
Once I get home (from a long trip to Germany) I'd upload some close-ups of this great architecture.
Lately, Wittner finetune pegs replaced the plain rosewood old pegs, so it became even more perfect instrument.
Contrary to my advise, this oud is being offered for sale :(

is it disorienting for anyone else watching a left-handed player? My brain does not compute it easily. Wonderful playing of course!

Left-handed and upside down!
