I love this piece of music! Im sure the purists will hate, thats fine, and I usually don't fall for 'fusion' (or whatever this is- contemporary?) and
stick to the old ways of taqsim but this really struck me. Anyone familiar with Bela Fleck? He reminds me of him, not anything specific - just the
sense of innovation, blending of old/new styles, and jaw-dropping talent. A bit of 'playing with time' and use of jolting, high energy phrases really
works my attention in a good way. You can tell he's totally lost in his world too, I love that.
