Hello,
I'm considering changing the soundboard of a baglama, to turn it as an arabic buzuq.
A tricky point is I will have to reset the neck because I wil have to settle a higher bridge
But another issue is I don't have any basis on how to brace the soundboard. What is the usual way ?
I think ladder brace anyway (put away the X-bracing of irish buzuk). But then ? One brace ahead the soundhole, 1 behind...Most probably a 2nd one
...And a third one behind the bridge ? Do you think it's needed ?

J'ai un bouzouk arabe, un Sukar. si tu veux je te fais les repérages et te donne les cotes.

oui je veux bien, ce serait super sympa de ta part.
Ca fait un moment que j'en cherche un mais ca apparait bien compliqué depuis la France...Alors reste les bricolages maison !
