Today I witnessed a most touching concert in Winterthur, Switzerland, in memoriam of HAIG MANOUKIAN, the great american-armenian oud-player who died
last April in his home in New York City. His long time musical companion Souren Baronian, clarinet, saxophon and doudouk-player from N.Y.C. and
Cornelia Kraft, doumbek, frame drum and voice, who together had toured Switzerland many times in the past decades as a trio called "Transition" played
together with Swiss piano-player Roger Girod in memory of their and our friend Haig Manoukian. It was a fantastic concert and many of us were moved to
tears as we could feel the spirit of our friend and great oud-master being with us.
Good trails, Haig! We will never forget you.

Hello Alexander,
it is really a pitty not to get the concert information before the concert. I would really have liked to visit it. If there will be in the future any
further concert like this, please keep us informed early.
