Hi everyone
till me what you think of my new oud ?
It is a custom oud made by morice shehata, I ordered it while I was in Cairo last summer and it arrived about 6 months ago but I did not post any pix
coz I did not have a camera.
It is made entirely with ebony with 5 ribs of sycamore with ebony inlayed design. The face is made from spruce.
If any one is wondering about the sound of ebony ouds they should not. The sound is absolutely amazing. I cannot describe it. As for the Wight of the
oud, it is more heavier than any other oud , but its really not a big issue , I got used to it very fast .

Salaam Ya Hisham,
This is a very nice Oud. I have one being custom built by El Aseel Maurice too. I love your oud. I think Maurice has the nicest artistic touch in the
world. Writing your name on it was not a bad idea. I wonder how it sounds.
You did well for sure.
Once I receive mine, I will post its pictures with the Mahammad Fadel Hussein I have.
I hope you enjoy it. Please post some recordings!
