More Information on Khojali Osman?

Greetings! I am absolutely blown away by the playing/singing of Khojali Osman and I wondered if anyone on here had any information about him. I haven't been able to find much about him, except that sadly he died in 1994.

Most importantly, does anyone know where I can get any recordings of him? Or has he even recorded or made albums? I cannot find anything.

I came across a video of him on youtube [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpVuPqlndlI&list=PLoanxUD7FVpqgcBZszFxZ6kufZS8J_E0R&index=25&t=0s] and I just watch it over and over, it is so good!

Any information about his style of playing, or if there are other players that perhaps play in this style of playing and singing (perhaps Sudan players?) and of course any clues as to how to find more of him and his music would be much appreciated.

Thanks for any help! Mark

I found this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWkTjNqvQ1U I like it, but find it pretty standard Sudanese "khomsi" style. You might also enjoy hearing Mustafa Al Sunni - https://www.amazon.com/Songs-Sudan-Mustafa-Al-Sunni/dp/B00000IXIL Sample here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHju18CwMRo I actually prefer the Kenyan oud player Zein l'Abdin, whose playing was rhythmically similar, but more maqam-based, less khomsi - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oiuNajf8QQ You might also like Mohamed Hassan, from the Comoros - https://www.allmusic.com/album/duniya-mw0001172243

Sub-Saharan African oud music is an interesting, and, I think, under-studied, under-appreciated field.
