During my recent rip to Syria to visit my village, my mom and I walked to a small cafe located in my village, Amar Al Hosn to get a bite to eat. While
in the cafe my mom mentioned to a gentleman there that I just baught some Ouds in Damascus and I’m learning to play the Oud. The link below shows
what happened next. We had the pleasure of hearing these two gentlemen perform an “Ah Tabah” A Syrian improvisation with an Oud and singer for my
mom and I. I’m so glad I grabbed my phone and recorded it. Below is a link to the video. Sorry for the bad quality of the video. I hope you enjoy it
