Hello ,
I have these two Egyptian Ouds that were recently made but of an old materials . the soundboards ( with it's inlays ) are 30 years old were stored in
some Egyptian oud maker in his workshop on the 90's . and one of his kids gave me some of these tops . we had to repair the inlays because some of
them were lost . and we decided to make them like some Ouds back in the 90s . the bowls as were are 5 years old were stored in the same workshop .
These two Ouds are same copy but different sound . wood of the bowl is mahogany and oak . the pegs are cheap olive wood ( they can be replace with
ebony pegs but this will add 20$ to the price ) , we made them with olive pegs to make them fit the style of the Ouds like back in the 90's .
