attempt at first taqsim recording!!!!

please give me as much criticism as possible!!! i want to improve even tho i am quite happy with my progress and would have never neen able to play this 3 or 4 weeks ago. its nothing special by the way!!

its not working!! am using the normal sound recorder that is on the computer. do i have to download some kind of software to be able to post it?

Posting files online is the best way to improve.
To post a file you can record the clips with windows movie maker witch I believe comes with any recent windows. it is in accessories if you cant find it. you can select the recording source at the top. Select audio only. And lower, you can select the quality. the better the quality the more space it takes up and your posts are required to be under 1mb so lower the quality if your sample is long.

onemore thing. Mike has put up a nice little section for the members to put our playing samples. (you can find it at the bottom of the very first page in the forum) It makes it easier to manage when files are kept organised in the right posts.

could u guys let me know if the attachment worked? samir, i tried the movie maker thing and posted it but not sure if i am the only one who can listen to it!! i feel quite stupid when it comes to these things! sorry

That's a Windows Movie Maker File. You need to export the file, save it to your hard disk. You posted the saved project file. Were you using Windows Movie Maker?

hi jameel, am ashamed of myself now! cant even get that to work. if anybody out there has the patience, please take me thru how you record and post ur clips.what software etc...

jameel, yes. i recorded it using the sound recorder on pc then imported it into movie maker. it is only 3 and half minutes long but its massive!!!! so i cant even email to mike!
