One of my students asked me to identify a song. I'm stumped, and I thought I'd throw it out to the oud forum. Thanks in advance. Here is his query:
Hi Eric,
I’m trying to track down a literary reference - from Sahar Khalifeh’s novel, Wild Thorns. Farid al-Atrash is mentioned a lot in it. The final
reference seems to be to a song called something like "My Birthday Returns” in English. Do you know what song that might be?
