[SOLD] Iraqi-Style Floating Bridge oud - Budget intermediate instrument

Hello! This is a lovely Arabic oud, made to order by Egyptian maker Tamer El-Asmar according to the specs of the previous owner:

-Spruce top
-Turkish Walnut body
-Ebony fingerboard and pegs
-Bone bridge
-Floating bridge, Munir Bashir style (in the Iraqi tradition).
-Italian-made Aquila strings
-Fitted with Sun Yi mini pick up (cable included) and with gig bag.

Cost the equivalent of USD 850 when new. The condition is excellent: it shows normal signs of use in places, with a few minor scratches (see pictures): this is visible only when looking closely.

In its price range the sound is really nice, clear and precise, a little more bright than some Arabic ouds and with a good amount of sustain (from the floating bridge, I assume). It is currenty in the high F tuning (Iraqi), but it also sounds deep and full in the low C tuning.

I'm in the EU and ship worldwide. Asking price USD 480 + shipping. I've shipped a lot of fragile instruments before, so it will be in good hands.

I can send more photos or a recording of the sound. Any questions, just get in touch. Cheers!
