Master Sumbat DerBedrossian or Petrossian was one of the greatest lutherie of his time, he began his craft in the 1920's .He built beautiful strong
and durable instruments with charming sound and echo.
He moved between Damascus and Beirut, so we can see instruments by him made in Damascus and other made in Beirut and he thought his son Garabet the
craft of lutherie.
