Yikes! I'd feel as though I were robbing you at that price (though I'll have to pass even still; right now the only price I'd be in the market for would be a giveaway).

Your eBay listing says "It has a deep bassy sound and sharp treble with not too much overtones wich is typical of a Arabic oud." Listing to your recordings of it, though, I'd say it was exceedingly rich in very pure overtones—their purity maybe concealing their abundance. I've always thought that the deliciously 'harmonious harmonics' of that oud were fascinating.

I think you have a treasure and that one of the most important things about the sale is that the oud go to a good home (such as, hey!, how about where it is now! - maybe you should sell something else! Just kidding, my friend; best of luck with the sale ;-).

Iam still not convinced Iam doing the right thing but I think it should end up in good hands.
