I think that on the bottom right it says "fi 1 Shawwal," giving the day and month (Shawwal is misspelled, so I am not certain about this reading, although it seems to me the most plausible). It is followed by the year 1936 on the left. In between at the bottom is the word "Sham" (Damascus).

1936 Makes a LOT more sence.

Sorry I read it as 1976 at first my bad.

Correction of my earlier reading of the month name. Now that Elias has posted his label, which is a bit more focused, it has clarified for me what I believe is the correct reading of the month, which is tishrin al-awwal (October). The month appears in an abbreviated form with only the first letter "ta" followed by "awwal," but I think that is the correct reading. So the exact date is October 1, 1936, and for Elias's label October 20, 1930. I know all this is not of any consequence, but it was just something that baffled me initially.

My god, that bowl is incredible. The face looks amazing too. This is one of the coolest looking ouds i've seen.

here is a full pic of the front - rosettes are original, all bone.
Fingerboard is flush with the face as opposed to resting on top of the face.
