Tunisian jazz piano man. He has just included an oud in his jazz group and the cd will be released in march. There are some audio and video clips in this page.

I found lot of good info and links here with you all guys. So the least is to share my infos.
However i should better be studying and practising oud instead of webcrawling. But witth the job, the family and the children, i can not "make noise" at night, so i "attack" silently the web.
It is very hard and difficult when you are 40, to learn music theory and practise oud. Specially oud, so rich and difficult instrument...

I hear you. I'm in my 40's too, with three kids - 18, 16, and 7! Life becomes very busy....I wish you and your family the best.

Zalzal,
I share the same situation, family, children, job, age (just a little more)...
And make noise at home at night.
Noise for an oud... what a shame !
I ask myself if buying an electric or muted oud wouldn't be a good solution.
Anyone know this ?

See the "oud practice"

Bonsoir Zalzal,
