Well done! Amos.!

what kind of derbake do you play? it sounds like the turkish type made of shiny aluminum? Am I right?
I your percusion playing is verry tight by the way I like it. Most people will look for the frills and the speed but if you cant keep the beat its worth junk.
Bravo once again

now I understand why I love the oud that much.

Magnificent Amos !!!!
only problem is that the piece is too short =)

What oud are you playing ?

Amos - 2-9-2006 at 09:22 AM

hi guys,
thanks for you compliments samir, and the derbeke is actually the classic arabic style with the heavy cast aluminum body...Thank you Itziks...the oud is from Izmir (Turkey) and was fixed up a little by peter kyvelos in belmont, mass. Thanks for the feedback to both of you and play in good health, amos

Jeez, you get a great sound out of that oud. Beautiful, man. Killer playing. Love it.
Let's see, I think I now have 6 Amos tracks loaded up on my ipod. Mighty fine listening.
