hey there,
i live in seattle and am looking for someone to take oud lessons from. i'm more interested in the arabic style but the only teacher that i have
found, teaches turkish. does anyone on here know of anyone who teaches oud in seattle? or would it be a good idea to just go ahead and learn the
turkish style and then go from there. any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Maestro Hossein Behroozinia teaches the oud. He lives in Vancouver, BC but also teaches in seattle on the weekends. You can check out his website(its

Mr. Behroozinia plays Iranian Music but the tunning and much of the techniques are the same as arabic. (Turks have a different tunning). Contact him
next week (he is away in europe this week).
