The Meanest Oud

Whatsup everybody! I can't believe they have an oud forum, this is great.

I'm looking to buy an oud and I want one with a low, guttoral sound. When I first heard this beautiful instrument i remember saying that it sounded like "a mean ass guitar". I know there are many different types of ouds so I would like to know where i could find that sound.

Also, you think the ouds on eBay are any good? Thanks for the help.
