Hello,
I've been lurking on this forum for a while, I have found it most informative!
I have recently taken up playing the oud. More as an interest (at the moment) - I am a "semi professional" guitar player in the style of Django
Reinhardt. I am really enjoying playing the oud and it seems to be helping my guitar technique too, especially the risha technique.
Anyway, I bought a second oud on ebay, in fact it was this one:

Many apologies to oudipoet if I was bidding against you!
The oud has needed quite a bit of restoration work, but is nearing completion and I was hoping someone may be able to direct me to where I could get a
decent case for it. I don't mind a soft case if it is well padded. I am in London, UK
Many thanks in anticipation, and thanks for a great forum!

The sukkar cases are kind of cheap... If they hadn't come with my ouds, I would not have spent real money on them. I think you're better off with a
case from Jameel or Oud.Proff
BTW, congrats on picking up the oud... I can't wait to hear what you come up with... I absolutly love Django Reinhardt so I think the fusion will
sould pretty awesome...
