I like this sentence in the Georgi's Nahat description:
"The holes are made of walnut wood which are perforated by laser"

hmmm... I feel like I've seen that label somewhere beforeDr. Oud - 6-29-2009 at 10:53 AM
I think they are both authentic and not really high priced. I would expect they both need some restoration work, the George Hana shows some face
cracks, normal for this age oud, but who knows how they have been repaired, if at all. The back pics are fuzzy enough to hide minor damage, but they
are not bad.
The "Abdo" is actually from the Abdo G. Nahat and sons workshop, the earlist of this label I've seen is 1916. This one shows some sanding done on
the face, and the top section is gone, which is not a good sign. The Nahats were made with very thin faces, and any sanding could ruin the soundboard.
Still, I think the price is reasonable for a Nahat that needs work and they could be restored, for a price.
