I don't own this oud, and have not even seen it, but somebody sent me a photo of the label and asked if I knew who made the oud.
Looks interesting.
Can anybody help?
Thanks again.

I cant make out any of the calligraphy text...or the other words - maybe it's early Ottoman script?

But the two names down the bottom are Ali Fathi and Mohammad Jamal Eldin - it also says Izmir - so may well me ottoman script....

good luck....

"Zayn Al Abideen" is written in the big middle circle.

The second line from the top says: "2889 and 397" (no idea what they mean).

The black number (bottom right) is 721, which is most likely the oud's number because it seems like it's imprinted on the paper (maybe stamps of small numbers which they used on the label).

I can also identify the words "Modern Oud" in the third line from top.. and the word "Oud" in the semi-circle calligraphy writing..

It is definitely not Arabic.
