Hi,
a friend here in Chile is looking for one and asked me about it. Since I don`t play Kanun, I`m not sure that it is adequate or not. Anyone have info
or comments about the "Barcus Berry Outsider 1457" and its effectiveness for kanun?

I don't know about the Barcus Berry, but my wife uses a K&K Big Twin on her qanun and it sounds pretty good. It doesn't have a high output
though, so it needs a preamp if you're playing with a band.

I'll see if I can take a picture this weekend. They are spread out under the lower strings. You can experiment with different locations before
permanently gluing them.
