Beautiful work there- looks stunning. What sort of finish will you put on it? Cant wait to see the finished product.
Best wishes.

Any more photos Yossi dear ?
This seems very promising, though we shall have to wait at least some more months after it is being tuned for the first time in order to hear its real sound .

As it's being showed, there's no reason why this oud wouldn't sound as warm as it seems, especially when Abu Alaa is totally dedicated lately to this project .

Good Luck

yours truly

Looks & sounds great
Bravo Abu Alaa'
If it sounds so in a week , what would it be like in two years from now ?

Abu Alaa' is a relatively young luthier located in Baqah Algharbiah, northern triangle area, Palestine/Israel , who has been building ouds for the last 36 years . He built great ouds for great players, but this must be one of his best , following Abdo Nahat's models.

Sorry, but I didn't like the inlay on the fingerboard. I think this masterpiece deserved much more "serious" one; but again it's a matter of taste .

Great job, mabrouk !

Amazing OUD

My Abu Ala oud is going on 2 years old now. She is sounding better and better each time I pick her up. Best of luck to you! :applause:
