Hi Z? :)

I like this, I have a bit of a soft spot for soulful, slightly melancholic, playing with a sense of longing ... it may be an Armenian thing but who knows ... and I like you tone.

Cheers

Nice Music!

Its Quite Short Mate!

Kurd is simple but powerful and passionated Maqam.

Cheers

Expressive, right up my alley! :buttrock:

What is the oud? it sounds like a floating bridge Fadel!

Nice one, just the kind of expressive playing I like too!:)

thanks guys!

it's a Nazih Ghadban oud and yes it's a floating bridge.

nice sound.
what strings are you using?
I have a floating bridge oud and need to get new strings.
thanks

I'm using the Pyramid orange set. I've also tried Aquila and it was not very different. I think it's the oud and not the strings in this case (it's a floating bridge but not a Bashir style oud...) I have to admit though that I prefer a fixed bridge with a more traditional sound.
