Oud Taxims Roupen Altiparmakian

A friend gave me this CD a while back and I just wanted to comment how much I have enjoyed it. I never heard of Altipamakian before this but I find the taxims inspiring and quite different than the contemporary Armenian music I listen to. There is also an Ushak violin taxim at the end that is stunning.

Great CD indeed.
Don't look here for Hi Fi recording. But it is not the matter.
A friend gave me a copy some years ago.
Roupen was playing in his garage, for himself, as I read it.
Sometimes you can hear his wife calling him for lunch.
