oud dimentions

hey my dad is a outstanding woodworker and we were talking about making ouds for fun so is there some oud dimentions that people can give us to make really uniqe ouds or even basic ouds that would be great. and i really wanna do this and make it work thx alot so plezz help me out and send me dimentions
