Arabic music study

I have a question for anyone out there who might have information on music programs. I want to take a summer or maybe even a semester to go to a music university somewhere in the middle east. Does anyone know the most prominent schools in arabic music and do they offer some form of study abroad? Also, I know some universities in the U.S. have some arabic music ensembels and classes. Does anyone know of such a program in the U.S.? I know a lot of the guys here travel to Egypt and probably know of some of the programs there so any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanx in advance.
