Iraqi oud by Mohammed Fadel, Serial No. 519
Based in London UK.
It's already failed to sell in two auctions, probably because there's a reserve on it (of at least £250, based on the outcome of the first failed
auction) but might still be of interest to someone here.
I have no affiliation with the seller! I just trawl ebay compulsively and unlike most of the rubbish that turns up on there this one here might
actually be a decent instrument.

This looks probably authentic. Partly because why else would some idiot have modified it to a (sort of) floating bridge setup. Who knows what else
they messed up.
But if someone is local and can check it out it could be very worthwhile.

I had a Fadel once, it had as much resonance as a cigar box oud. I sold it to an australian.
