waves - 21 beat cycle for oud,violin,cello,bass,trumpet, charango and percussions


here comes a composition I have wrote in 21 beat cycle. with Turkish oud this time and from a great player I shall say. I tried to catch the Sea mood.

Hello IlPersiano!

Sounds good to me. Sweet littel charango there! The rhythm to me is 3 x 5/8 measuers and 1 x 6/8 measure at the end of the theme. Has a nice relaxed mediteranean flair.

In fact the whole piece is subdivided like that. It is called composed measure or in Western terms additive rhythm. 5+5+5+6 makes 21. Then in the solos it goes in 7/8. Otherwise it is 21 beats.
Does it make sense?
