Hi Usman,
There is a pretty big M.E./N.A. (Middle East/North Africa) music scene in LA. You could start by contacting the Kan Zaman Ensemble: http://www.kanzaman.org/ You can ask to be in touch with their director, Wael Kakish. I don't know how long you've been playing, but a great
way for new musicians to meet others at a similar level is to contact music teachers and ask to be put in touch with their students. (I teach oud in
the San Francisco Bay Area, and have been moderately successful finding other musicians for my oud student to jam with by asking other local
teachers.)
